adidas Central Europe connects its teamwear retailers with Grinta
Live catalog, live inventory and automated order entry for adidas teamwear retailers in Germany, with Austria and Switzerland coming soon.
How many hours a week do teamwear retailers spend checking inventory or re-typing orders?
Collecting orders. Checking brand inventory. Updating spreadsheets. Telling club members the product is out of stock. Typing orders, again. For most retailers, this admin eats into the time they should spend selling.
That's the problem Cedric Mihart and the adidas Football Central Europe team, covering Germany, Austria and Switzerland, chose to tackle with Grinta. In June 2026, they decided to provide their specialist teamwear retailers with software built for their job, rather than leaving each of them to get by with generic tools.
Run your club network from one connected platform
adidas retailers now run on a connected club management platform: an all-in-one suite built to streamline their daily operations and deliver a better service to every club they equip:
- Club shops: each retailer gets its own adidas-branded online store solution, with a dedicated shop for each club where members order directly and the club earns cashback on every sale.
- Club portal: every volunteer at every amateur club has a dedicated space to drive merchandise sales and engage their community.
- Club CRM: retailers engage their entire club network and member audiences in a few clicks.
- Order tracking through to production: names, numbers and delivery details go straight to the print workshop, so every order is tracked from click to kit.
"Teamwear retailers need software that understands their clubs business. adidas Football Central made that choice for its network, and we're proud to support its retailers on the ground with the right tools."
— Mickael Bardes, CEO at Grinta.
Work from live data, without re-typing a line
The platform is connected to adidas through the Grinta EDI Portal. adidas publishes its data, and Grinta syncs it automatically for every connected retailer, through three data flows:
- Live catalog (PRICAT): products and data stay up to date in the retailer's platform, with no files to download or import.
- Live inventory (INVRPT): club members cannot order products that are out of stock at adidas when they shop from their club shop. No more disappointing message a few days later saying the order can't be fulfilled. For the retailer, that means far less after-sales work: no cancellations to handle, no back-and-forth with members and clubs.
- Automated order entry (ORDERS): orders go straight from the retailer's club platform to adidas system. No more manual entry.
Fewer errors, fewer phone calls, happier club members.
Less checking. More selling.
