SportEasy × Grinta: from membership registration to season starter kits ordering
SportEasy and Grinta are launching a collaboration to synchronize the collection of club members’ membership fees with the triggering of season starter kits orders from the club’s retail partner.
At the start of every season, amateur clubs run their membership campaigns and collect fees from their members. Once those fees are collected, it is also the moment when clubs equip their members with the official club kit – or pack –. To ease the cost for members and strengthen the club’s identity, it is common for the membership fee to include a bundle of items, commonly known as the Membership Pack. For the club’s partner kit supplier, this is the crucial moment of the season, when everything is decided within a few weeks.
Two distinct worlds, one missing link.
The club lives in its management app, where it collects registrations and engages its community of members. The retailer runs its business in its sales management software, where it processes information and enters and manages orders.
Between these two worlds, there is no bridge. Someone has to centralize and reprocess each member’s information (category, pack type, sizes, personalization, etc.) and then convert that data into orders.
For a club of 300 members, that means hours of manual entry. For the retailer, it means data that arrives late, sometimes incomplete or in an unsuitable format, and a commercial glass ceiling: three-quarters of clubs simply give up on back-to-season packs to avoid the headaches and the tedious administration.
Connecting a pack order to membership payment
The collaboration between SportEasy and Grinta aims to bring these two worlds closer together. The principle is simple: when a member pays for their membership on SportEasy, sports gears included, they are redirected to the club’s shop, to the membership pack matching their registration (e.g. Youth U6-U15, Senior Competition...). All that is left for them to do is enter their sizes and personalization options. The order then arrives directly in the distributor’s Grinta software. The distributor tracks pack orders in real time and can streamline production and delivery in step with incoming registrations. Volunteers are freed from any data entry. Packs can be delivered earlier in the season.
Tangible benefits for the retailer, the club and its members
This connection changes three things:
- Time saved on the heaviest operation of the season: collecting individual information and manually re-entering orders disappear. By connecting their sales tool to the club’s, data arrives clean and complete, straight at their marking facility (or their production line).
- A seamless experience: this bridge offers clubs and their members a service that is connected at every step, from registration to equipment delivery.
- A shared interest: an automated process that makes it easier for every club to offer bundle kits to their members, helping to boost the image of the club and the merchandising revenue of both the sports association and its retailer.
A feature coming soon
The Design and Tech teams of both companies will start developing this connection in the first quarter of 2027, with deployment targeted for the first half of 2027. A new announcement will be made when the connection goes live. Stay tuned !
